Industrial air barriers for plant and flower logistics
Flower auctions, plant distribution centres and horticultural exporters need open routes for trolleys and vehicles. An industrial air barrier can limit uncontrolled air exchange at loading doors and between temperature zones.

Energy first · Plants & flowers
Reduce energy losses. Assess heating and cooling demand.
Our priority is energy efficiency at open industrial doors: retaining heat in heated halls and limiting heat ingress into chilled and frozen areas. A tailored air barrier can reduce air exchange while keeping goods moving.
We assess opening times, temperatures, wind and building pressure. Draughts, hygiene and emissions are additional requirements.

Receiving, staging and dispatch bring flowers and plants through frequently opened doors. Cold outdoor draughts in winter and warmer air in summer can disturb the conditions near those openings. The required temperature and humidity depend on the species, product and logistics stage.
A directed air stream across the opening can support climate separation without adding a physical obstruction to the trolley route. We assess the door, adjacent zones, wind exposure and building pressure together. The arwus fan unit can be positioned above or beside the opening, subject to the available installation space.
Where plant and flower logistics meet open doors
Flower auctions and cross-docking
Frequent trolley movements between receiving, staging and dispatch areas.
Plant distribution and export
Loading doors used by horticultural exporters and distribution centres in the Netherlands and wider Benelux.
Internal temperature zones
Open passages between differently conditioned areas, assessed for the specific flowers or plants.

- Door width, height and photos of both sides
- Types of plants or flowers and required temperature and humidity
- Conditions in the adjoining zone or outdoors
- Opening duration, frequency and trolley or vehicle traffic
- Wind exposure, ventilation, pressure differences and available mounting space
