The operational challenge

Open doors are part of the process.
Uncontrolled air exchange should not be.

At busy loading bays, every door cycle affects temperature stability, refrigeration demand and product quality. The larger the temperature difference and the longer the opening time, the greater the pressure on the cold chain.

An individually designed air barrier counters the natural movement of air while forklifts, vehicles and people pass freely.

How it works

A precise airflow across the full door opening.

The fan unit supplies the system above the door. Side-mounted outlet columns direct the air stream precisely across the opening, counteracting pressure- and temperature-driven air movement.

What matters before the first conversation.

What is the difference between an air barrier and a conventional air curtain?

A conventional air curtain typically blows downwards from above. The systems used here supply a precisely directed air stream through vertical outlet columns on both sides of the industrial door.

Can the system be installed on an existing door?

In many cases, yes. We first check clearances, mounting surfaces, power supply and possible obstructions around the opening.

Does it slow down loading operations?

No. The passage remains open and forklifts, vehicles and people can move through without an additional gate or waiting cycle.

What do you need for an initial assessment?

A photo, door width and height, temperatures on both sides, typical opening times and a short description of the challenge are usually enough to start.

How long does planning and implementation take?

As a guide, allow around two to three months from planning to installation. The exact schedule depends on the configuration and site conditions.
